RCrocs was founded to provide a grassroots local rock crawling series on the East Coast.   Events will be held at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park.

“Rock Crawling” is a team sport made up of a driver, spotter, and the vehicle.  There will be as many as 100 teams competing.   Scoring is similar to golf in that the lowest score wins.  Each team will run several courses with a 10-minute time limit.   The courses are laid out on both natural rocky terrain as well as manmade concrete obstacles.  There are four classes of competitors, ranging from stock to unlimited.

Each vehicle must complete the course (and for more challenge, take “bonus lines” which are more difficult) and accumulate as few points as possible.  Points are given for backing up, touching the course boundaries, using straps or winches.   Minus points are given as well for getting past each progression point and by completing bonus lines.  The maximum points given on each course is 40 (or 50 if you miss or skip a course).

At the end of the primary courses, the top 6 in each class then compete in the Shoot Out to determine the winners.
